Healthy Food & Oil

     The misty of healthy life is comfortable lifestyle & healthy food.The quality of food is deepen upon the oil  use in cooking.Lots of people are secure about balance of cholesterol and the effects on heart from the oil.To understand the condition of oil, first we have to know some meaning of word related to oil.

Cholesterol:
     It is a soft substances, which is found in the group of cell and in the blood molecules in the form of fat    body .It is taken as important part as physical work.It is two type:
  • Low density lipoprotin (LDL) or bad cholesterol.
  • High density lipoprotin (HDL) or good cholesterol.
    In the blood the rate of cholesterol is increases, it can invite the cardiovascular diseases.

 Monosaturated  fatty acid:
     This is a healthy fatty acid.In the oil this acid help to decreases the bad cholesterol &help to maintain the rate of good cholesterol in the body.Polyunsaturated fatty acid of oil polyunsaturated help to low the bad and good cholesterol of the body.Hence this is not good for health,because rate of good cholesterol if decreases it can effects from heart diseases.

Saturated fats:
     The uses of this fat in much more amount increases the cholesterol.Hence the fat gets stick in the wall of the blood cell.As a result blood clotting and heart diseases increases.

Different type of oil:
 Unsaturated fats:
     This doesn't increases the bad cholesterol.Hence from health point of view it is better for health.

Refined oil:       
     This oil is purify by chemically.In this oil, there is no harmful color, substances, smell etc and it is good, pure and safety to use.

Filter oil:
     The traditional cold pressing process,this oil is purify.To be free from harmful chemical & substances this process is done to purify the oil.

Oil combination:
      To gain lots of profit from the oil, mixed oil can be used.From all three type of fatty acid this oil combination balance it and control it.But two type of oil combination is not possible,but in market many brand of oil is available eg: rise-burn and sunflower mixture.In kitchen different type of oil is used to cook different type of food. eg: For salad olive oil and for fry sunflower oil.And for special food mustard & soybean oil is used.

 Groundnut oil: 
      It is important to lower the bad cholesterol and maintain the good cholesterol.In market, refined & filer both kind of groundnut oil are available.From health point of view filter oil is good but from purification side refined oil is good.  

                                                                                 Olive oil:
     Compare to the other oil this oil is little bit expensive but from health choice it is very good for eating.In this monounsaturated fats is found.For healthy cooking it is best.From a research, it can control the blood cholesterol, from which the patient of Nonrigid heart and blood cholesterol is managed ans transport to each part of body rather then to collected in the stomach.From health point of view it is very useful and healthy. eg causes of cancer is destroy, diabetes is lower etc.In it we can found anti oxidant chemical which is very much good from health point of view.

 Soybean oil:
      From health point of view this oil is good for cooking but it should be used for frying.In it polyunsaturated fatty acid in high amount of heat is gets oxides and gets poison.

  Mustard oil:   
      Because of taste and smell this oil is liked by each and everyone.Mostly this oil is found as filter oil but refined oil is sell as vegetative oil.In this the amount of mono saturated fatty acid is high and we also can found the polyunsaturated fatty acid in it.Because of erotic acid the high amount of this oil can be dangerous.To lower this oil other oil is also mixed.This oil can used in every type of cooking.In this oil mostly there is mixture of other substances so,when we buy this oil first the purification of the oil must be check.

  Sunflower oil:
      This oil is very much popular and it is very much popular and it is found in different brand.In this poly saturated fatty acid is found in high amount.Specially lino-link acid  which lower both type of cholesterol.So it is not good to used it.Like this red Pam oil and Pamelina oil in which lino-link acid is low and it can be used for food and it is good too.eg: one day sunflower oil next day Pam oil.

  Cordy oil: 
       This oil is found as safhola brand in the market.In this oil lino-link acid is found as polyunsaturated fatty acid.As sunflower oil, this oil also must used with Pam & Pamelina oil. 

   Rice burn oil:
       Compare to the other oil this oil is cheap and good for health too.In this the amount of mono saturated fatty acid is high.In this vitamin 'A' is found.Which is anti oxidant and also it has Sakhalin which is good for the skin.

  Coconut oil:   
        In this oil saturated fat is found.Other vegetative like,this oil too doesn't increases the cholesterol.This can be used with sunflower, Cordy etc.

   Butter:
        It is made from milk saturated and in it their is high amount of saturated fat,which increases the cholesterol.The high uses of this can be dangerous.
 
   Ghee:
        This is also made from milk fats.In this medicinal substances are found then to the over use of this can be risky.

    Bnaspati ghee:
         This oil is the mixture of vegetable oil.Which give a taste shape by a hydrogen.This is used instead of ghee.Bakery production like (cake, biscuits, sweet, snacks etc)  is made by this ghee.When making bnaspati oil there obtain trans fatty acid.the over use of this is harmful for the heart.
     
Low Cholesterol Food
     In any oil there is no presence of cholesterol but it Heep in increasing the amount of body cholesterol.The choice of oil and to use it must be according to the health not as a taste.Because, right oil chose will help to maintain the good health but,wrong choice will cause over weight.Oil is that substance that not only make the food tasty but also over use of it will lend to the over weight.so, take limited oil and make the body healthy and fit.Because if health once gone,never come again.

Teej and Health

    First Teej is a festival of all Nepali Hindu Women of Nepali culture. In Nepal Teej is celebrated in different ways, in different cast. In Teej all Hindu women celebrate this festival with lots of joy and happiness. In this day they make up with top to bottom with red color and this festival is celebrated for two days. The first day is the day when all women went to their mother’s home and eat lots of delicious foods like ‘sell roti’, ‘curd’, ‘sweets’, ‘meats’ etc. and do lots of enjoyments like dance, singing etc. On second day keep fasting for their family and especially for their husband’s long life. This way the Nepali cultural women celebrate this festival.
       When we talk about Teej it’s seems to be ‘DAR’ (the day when Hindu women eats delicious foods) and dress up in Red and green color. All the women eat ‘DAR’ and a second day they keep fasting whole day without eating, even no water. They do lots of enjoyments by gathering of all Hindu Nepali sisters. This looks very much fun and traditional from inside but it is not like that from the outside. It is very in real life. The first day of festival eating lots of foods and on the second day stay without eating anything is quit risky and it can create problems too. 


   What type of food must be eaten on this first day (DAR)?
          The important Teej is ‘DAR’. In this day the different kinds of food are eaten. From that the main items are meat, sweets, ghee and KHEER. In 100 gm of goat meat there is 22 gm of protein, 5 gm of oily substance (fat), 1 gm mineral substances, 60 gm water and vitamin is found. According to the health condition meat is good for body and to eat. Meat is eaten in different item and cooked in different ways like gravy, roll, boil, steamed, fry and burn. Whatever, item of meat we take it must be well cooked. In meat there can be larva of tapeworms, roundworms, liver flukes and many other micro organisms. The uncooked food may cause stomach ache, vomiting, diarrhea, fever etc. diseases can attack. When we cook meat it is better to use less oil while cooking it. It helps in weight loss and also to maintain good health. Using less oil in the food is the best way to maintain weight of the body and for perfect fitness.
         In DAR sweets are compulsory to eat and this advantage is taken by the shop. They use harmful chemical and different type of color to make sweet attractive and look nice, but this make the health very much poor. This types of harmful chemical and color can disturb digestive system. And also can causes a serious problem. Many women have food with lots of ghee or oil and different type of spicy food is made an eaten. Because of this types of food it is not good for health and doctor to advice to have this kind of food limited. This type of oily food is somehow good for health because it give energy but the fatty body collected inside the body and forms a big fat body and that causes over weight. To avoid such problems it is better to have fruits, less oil made foods, green vegetables, curds etc.
 

   What to do in fasting?
       A healthy person can stay without eating anything for a day. Some time being fasting is good for health. Our body needs daily 2270 calories energy. While we are in fasting these energies are produced by fat substances. In this condition there may be any scarcity of protein and vitamin. These does not causes anything of women but those who are weak and her health condition is very low. They can suffer from several kinds of diseases.
        In the day of Teej having no water is not good for health. Our body needs more than two liters of water daily. And in the day of fasting women need water mostly. While dancing and singing lots of water is loosed by sweating. So, at that time H2O is very essential. The women of fasting sometimes get faint, because of less water in their body. At this condition the women must be provided with glucose and fruits. This will help them to maintain the health in the fasting state too. And the Nepali women can enjoy their festival very much with peacefully with the good health.
